| Education Public Relations Coordinator Seeking an energetic, team player capable of wearing many hats and juggling several assignments at one time in Catawba College's Public Relations Office. The qualified applicant will have strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, and will have some graphics software skills or be willing to learn, including Quark Xpress and Photoshop. Relevant work experience and a four-year degree preferred. This 12-month position handles distribution of all news releases sent to the parents and hometown papers of Catawba students; works with the College's Graphic Designer to prepare programs, catalogs, bulletins, name tags, business cards, and posters/signs; coordinates the databases and reservations for the Brady Author's Symposium and Family Weekend and other special events; orders and maintains inventory of stationery and envelopes for the College; maintains Public Relations files, including press clippings, student files and faculty/staff files; coordinates print purchases with various departments and processes invoices appropriately; completes basic writing assignments as required; serves as proofreader for various publications; and takes photographs of on-campus events as needed.
